Angela James, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, currently serves as the Sr. HR Business Partner Manager at La-Z-Boy Incorporated since April 2023. Previously, Angela held the position of SVP, Human Resources Manager for the Joplin Region at Arvest Bank from November 2018 to April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Human Resources Manager at Rembrandt Foods (2017-2018) and Sr. Training & Development Specialist at Owens Corning (2016-2017), where Angela was instrumental in launching a new mineral wool facility and developing HR operational strategies. Angela started a career in human resources as an HR Generalist at Mars Petcare US (2014-2016) and worked in various HR roles at Land O'Lakes, City of Neosho, and Bank of America. Angela holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University, an MBA in Banking Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management from Missouri Southern State University.
