Navindi Rusiri is currently a postgraduate student at La Trobe University, pursuing a Master of Public Health and Master of Health Administration from August 2023 to March 2026. Prior to this, Navindi held the position of Administrative Assistant and Receptionist at Mount Waverley Medical Services from November 2023 to February 2024. Navindi's extensive experience in the medical field includes serving as a Medical Officer with the Ministry of Health in Sri Lanka from December 2012 to August 2023, where responsibilities included working in the Family Health Bureau and various medical departments during the Covid pandemic. Additional experience includes a temporary lectureship in Community Medicine at the University of Peradeniya in 2012 and an internship covering Gynecology, Obstetrics, and Pediatrics. Navindi's educational background also includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Peradeniya and involvement in clinical courses at ARIMGSAS concluding in 2024.
