David Phung is an experienced Environmental Engineering Associate at LA Sanitation & Environment since September 2023. Prior to this role, David worked as an Air Quality Engineering Consultant l at ERM from January 2023 to September 2023. David's background includes an internship at the R'Garden at the University of California, Riverside, focusing on sustainable food systems, and a research position at the Community Air Grant Undergraduate Researcher at the Air Quality Modeling and Exposure Lab. Additionally, David served as a Community Scientist and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the College of Engineering - Center for Environmental Research and Technology, where data analysis was conducted on Portable Emissions Measurement systems. David's experience also includes an internship with the Clean Air SGV Campaign at the Asian Pacific Islander Forward Movement, addressing air quality issues in the San Gabriel Valley. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, earned in 2022.
