Angel Acosta has extensive experience in the field of medical technology, serving as a Lead Medical Technologist at La Rabida Children's Hospital since 1994, where responsibilities include performing chemistry analysis, hematology, and urinalysis. Prior to this role, Angel worked at Cabrini Hospital from 1990 to 1991, specializing in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, blood banking, urinalysis, and phlebotomy. Angel began a career at Cook County Hospital from 1976 to 1990, eventually serving as a laboratory supervisor. Education includes an Associate of Arts degree from Malcolm X College and training as a U.S. Army Medic.
