Viveka Mehrotra is a dedicated student and emerging leader with a strong focus on computer science and civic engagement. Currently serving as a Student Assistant at Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy and involved with the Stanford Deliberative Democracy Lab, Viveka has participated in initiatives such as the United States Senate Youth Program and has led the North Oconee GirlsBuild chapter, promoting STEM education among young women. As a co-founder of the app "Coexist," Viveka gained recognition for winning the Congressional App Challenge for Georgia’s 10th Congressional district. Additionally, experience includes a stint as a Laboratory Research Intern at the University of Georgia, where work supported early detection of breast cancer, and participation on the GSBA Youth Advisory Council, influencing educational policy in Georgia. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Public Policy at Duke University, Viveka is committed to bridging technology and civic engagement.
