Katie Bittner is an experienced sustainability consultant and educator, currently affiliated with Great Lakes Sustainability, LLC, since December 2019. Bittner also contributes to Great Lakes Trailbuilders, LLC, focusing on strategic planning and community engagement through trailbuilding initiatives since 2011. In addition to these roles, Bittner serves on the Board of La Crosse Public Library and has held leadership positions with the Sustainability Institute and WisCorps, Inc. Previously, Bittner worked as a corporate trainer at Kwik Trip, Inc., and as a school instructor for Vermont Youth Conservation Corps. Early career experience includes finance and administrative coordination at Conservation Corps Minnesota and Iowa. Bittner holds a Graduate Degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Minnesota - Humphrey Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Minnesota.
