Dawn Wacek is an experienced library professional currently serving as Deputy Library Director and Youth Services Manager at La Crosse Public Library since December 2015. Additionally, Dawn has been an elected La Crosse County Board Supervisor for District 9 since April 2020. Prior roles include Library Director and Youth Services Manager at City of Rice Lake from January 2008 to December 2015, and Children's Manager at Charleston County Public Library from June 2004 to December 2007. Dawn holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in English from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
