William (Bill) Furman is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in communication systems and digital signal processing. Currently serving as a Senior Fellow and Senior Scientist at L3Harris Technologies since August 1983, Bill applies advanced communication theory to HF, VHF, and UHF systems. Previously, Bill held positions as a Senior Technical Fellow, Senior Scientist, and Director at Harris Corporation, where contributions included work in the Advanced Technology Department and early projects in speech encryption. Bill obtained a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and completed education at Mountain Lakes High School and Exmouth Comprehensive School in the U.K.
