Retired General Edward A. Rice, Jr., U.S. Air Force, 66, has been a member of the L3Harris board since February 2023. Rice is a retired four-star general and served as commander of the U.S. Air Force, Air Education and Training Command until his retirement in 2013. Following his retirement from the Air Force, Rice has been an independent consultant with Ed Rice Consulting (since 2014).

During his 35-year military career, Rice served as a general officer, including commanding U.S. Forces Japan and the 5th Air Force, serving as vice commander of Pacific Air Forces, and commanding the 13th Air Force.
