Stephen Gastright has over 20 years of experience in the architecture and design industry. Stephen worked as an Architectural Intern at VMDO Architects from 1997 to 1999, and then as an Architectural Intern at SMP Architects from 2000 to 2001. Stephen joined EwingCole in 2002 and served as an Architect/Educational Planner, specializing in incorporating educational practices into K-12 and higher ed facilities. In 2014, they joined Parkhill, Smith & Cooper as a Senior Architect. Later, in 2016, they joined KZF Design as a Project Manager, where they contributed to fulfilling the educational needs of the region. Stephen then became the Director of Education Studio at KZF Design in 2018 and served until 2020. Since 2020, they have held the position of Vice President and Director of Education Studio at KZF Design. Additionally, Stephen has been a Board Officer for the New Kensington Community Development Corporation since 2010, where they chair the Real Estate Development Subcommittee.
Stephen Gastright earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia, completing their studies in 1997. Stephen furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree at the University of Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2002. In addition to their academic achievements, Stephen possesses a LEED BD+C certification from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). Stephen is also a Registered Architect in the states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Kentucky. The specific dates of when Stephen obtained these certifications are not provided.
