R. Erik M. began their work experience in 1997 as an Associate Chemist at Dexter Electronic Materials. R. Erik worked in this role from October 1997 to June 1999. In June 1999, they joined Kyzen Corporation as a Vice President, a position that they still hold.

R. Erik M. completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry at Northwest Nazarene University from 1993 to 1997.
