Bishwa Ganguly PhD currently serves as the Vice President of Translational Medicine at Kyverna Therapeutics, starting January 2024. Prior to this role, Bishwa held significant positions at Lyell Immunopharma as Vice President of Translational Science and Executive Director of Precision Medicine, where leadership of a translational oncology group focused on next-generation T cell-based cancer therapeutics was emphasized. Bishwa's experience also includes serving as Director of Precision Medicine at Pfizer, facilitating early clinical development of biologics, ADC, and cell-based therapies, and as Senior Research Investigator II at Bristol-Myers Squibb, concentrating on translational research. Bishwa's earlier career includes roles at PDL BioPharma and Stanford University as a postdoctoral fellow, along with initial experience as a biochemical technician at Genentech Inc. Bishwa earned a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Immunology at Stanford University, and holds an AB in Psychology and Neurobiology from the University of California, Berkeley.
