Louis Smith is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Semi-Retired CTO Emeritus at Kyra Solutions since February 2023, after a successful tenure as Chief Technology Officer from August 2007 to February 2023. In this role, Louis provided technology leadership, mentoring to technical staff, and strategic planning for various organizations. Prior experience includes Chief Architect/Sr Business Analyst at Keane Federal Systems, where Louis evaluated business processes and implemented a development strategy for a $127 million DOD project, as well as Chief Technologist focusing on IT for the Department of Defense. Earlier roles include IT Consultant at Commerce Quest and Project Manager at Decision Consultants, Inc. from 1998 to 2001, where Louis contributed to business analysis and transformation efforts.
