Alex van de Wall has extensive experience in the field of road construction and asphalt technology, holding key positions since 1999 at KWS Infra, including Hoofd Onderzoek & Advies Wegen and Hoofd Infralinq. Notable contributions include the consolidation of asphalt-related activities under a focused business unit, KWS@vice, and leadership in product and process innovations aimed at enhancing asphalt quality and sustainability. As Chairman of the Permanent Committee on Technical Regulations & Europe at VBW-Asfalt and the NEN committee for Bitumen, Alex actively works on improving technical standards and regulatory clarity within the asphalt industry. Furthermore, involvement in the PIM steering group facilitates the dissemination of vital information regarding asphalt applications. Prior roles included project leader at Aveco de Bondt, and research associate at Delft University of Technology, providing a solid foundation in geotechnical research and development. Alex holds a degree in Engineering Geology from Delft University of Technology.
