Remko Mewe has extensive experience in scientific communication and editorial roles, currently serving as a Wetenschaps(communicatie)specialist at KWF Kankerbestrijding since September 2012, where responsibilities include communicating groundbreaking research through summaries, interviews, and thematic articles. Concurrently, Remko has been the Hoofdredacteur of FilmTotaal at StillPoint Media BV since March 2006, leading a team to produce film reviews and coordinate press events. Previous roles include Medisch-wetenschappelijk redacteur and content specialist at Stichting TravelAlert, where Remko was responsible for editorial work on publications and the development of educational materials. Early career experience included positions as a Filiaalmedewerker at Moviecenter B.V. and a Bureauredacteur at Medical Multi Media Productions B.V. Remko holds a Master of Science in Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Medicine, both from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, along with a vwo-diploma from Christelijk Gymnasium Sorghvliet.
