Sofia Moestedt has extensive experience in leadership and strategic planning across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of the Department for Strategic Orientation and Management Support at Kustbevakningen since June 2020, Sofia previously held roles including Base Unit Manager for the Department of Community Planning and Regional Growth at Region Kalmar län and Communications Manager at Blekinge Tekniska Högskola. Earlier career positions include Department Manager for Regional Growth at Region Blekinge and Head of Office for Contract Training and Projects at Blekinge Institute of Technology. Sofia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, and Communications and Media Studies from Lund University, along with a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Communication from Blekinge Institute of Technology.
