Renate Rumstajn is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in economic management and control across various organizations. Currently serving as an Ekonom/Controller at Kustbevakningen since March 2015, Renate leads method development and IT department projects, including international projects funded by EU and other agencies. Prior experience includes roles as Ekonomiansvarig in Mölndals stad, where Renate managed a budget of 300 million kronor for state grants, and as Ekonom/Controller in Kungsbacka and Bollebygds municipalities, focusing on economic oversight and reporting to political entities. Other positions include finance roles at Canon Medical Systems, Shell, and St1 Sverige AB. Renate holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Gothenburg.
