Alvaro Lacasa has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

From 2007 to 2009, they worked as an Installer of electronic products for cars at Autozona S.L.

In 2010, they briefly worked as a Sales Manager at O'Sorbet D'Amour.

Alvaro then gained experience as a Trainee in the department of Engineering at MAPROGA S.L., where they were involved in manufacturing, maintenance, and adjustment of machinery.

In 2014, Lacasa worked on their Final Degree Project at CEIT.

From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Junior Industrial Automation Technician at Again, S.L., where they focused on electrical schematics, PLC and HMI programming, retrofitting automated installations, and customer start-ups.

In 2018, they joined Kunak Technologies SL and held two roles. As a Firmware Engineer, they worked on IoT technologies and programming microcontrollers for sensor communication with KunakCloud. Alvaro also served as a Technical Support and Embedded Systems Developer, where they handled after-sales service, designed and programmed embedded software on Linux, and managed the IT department.

Alvaro Lacasa completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronics at the University of Navarra from 2007 to 2014. Alvaro then pursued a Master's degree in Embedded Systems Engineering at the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Alvaro obtained certificates in Embedded Systems - Shape the World and Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python from edX, although the specific time of completion is not provided.
