Nurcan Simsek is an experienced professional with extensive expertise in global operations and project management, currently serving as the VP and Global Head of Global Operating Standards Strategic Projects at Kuehne+Nagel since November 2006, where transformational projects within Contract Logistics are managed globally. Previous roles include Global Vice President of Contract Management and Customer Development, Regional Operations Excellence and Implementations Manager for the MEA region, and National Continuous Improvement and Implementation Manager focused on BMW's spare part business. Prior to Kuehne+Nagel, Nurcan held project management positions at Automotive Supplier Park, served as a Business & System Analyst at Fraunhofer IPA, and completed a project trainee role at KPMG. Early career experience includes a trainee position in Purchasing Controlling and Logistics at Bosch. Nurcan holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Procurement and Logistics from Pforzheim University.
