Mirko Van Ede is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at KUBUS BV since September 2024, Mirko previously held multiple roles at bol.com from October 2010 to September 2024, including Director of Engineering for both Technical Platform & Architecture and Shopping & Marketing Technology, along with positions such as Engineering Manager and Software Engineer. Mirko has a strong technical background in Java, Oracle, MongoDB, Python, and AngularJS, and has demonstrated expertise in large and complex data migrations and product catalog management. Earlier career experience as a Freelancer from January 2005 to October 2010 included software engineering in PHP and Python, mobile application development for iOS, and working with Oracle technologies. Mirko holds a Master of Science degree in Informatica from Radboud University, earned between 1999 and 2009.
