Angela Couture, DHSc, MSIDT, RHIA, currently serves as the Academic Support Manager and Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Kansas Medical Center, a position held since February 2020. In this role, Angela Couture guides current and prospective Health Information Management (HIM) students on their academic paths, including coursework and university resources for both on-campus and online programs. Prior experience includes serving as Academic Support Manager and Clinical Instructor at the same institution from February 2016 to February 2020, and as a Performance Improvement Specialist at North Kansas City Hospital from November 2014 to February 2016. Angela Couture holds a Doctor of Health Sciences from AT Still University, a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Design & Technology from Emporia State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from The University of Kansas.
