Willem Thijs is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and SAP consulting. Currently serving as the Team Lead in Manufacturing at Alpro since July 2021, Willem also holds a position as a head lecturer for the SAP postgraduate program at UCLL and acts as a guest trainer for ERP processes at the Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven. Willem has been an SAP consultant for manufacturing and logistics at KRONOS Worldwide, Inc., and has owned Business Integration Solutions since 2003, focusing on SAP SCM. Additionally, Willem is a preferred SCM trainer for SAP since 2006, consistently achieving high ratings. Previous roles include SAP Team Lead at Oleon and various consulting positions across multiple companies. Willem holds a PhD in Applied Economics from KU Leuven and has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg. Certified in several SAP modules, Willem is recognized for expertise in enhancing business value chains.
