Damien Chabrol, PhD, has a diverse range of work experience in technology and innovation. Damien co-founded Asterios Technologies in 2023 and currently serves as the VP of Innovation & Strategy. Prior to that, they worked at Krono-Safe as the Manager of Innovation and Product Strategy. Damien also held various roles at Krono-Safe, including Chief Advanced Engineering and VP of Product Marketing. Before this, Damien worked at CEA as a Researcher at the Embedded Real-Time Systems Lab and as a PhD Student, where they focused on real-time systems and safety-critical communication protocols. Overall, they have a strong background in product strategy, innovation, and research in the technology field.

Damien Chabrol, PhD, received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Informatique from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their DESS RSI degree in Informatique from the Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne in 2002. In 2001, they completed their Maitrise & Licence d'Informatique, also from the Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne. Damien began their educational journey at the IUT Reims, where they earned their DUT degree in Informatique from 1997 to 1999.
