Karen Laureano-Rikardsen currently serves as the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at Kroll since 2024, overseeing the global marketing and communications strategy with a focus on brand management, crisis communications, and public relations. Previously, from 2015 to 2023, Karen held the positions of Chief Communications Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Cantor Fitzgerald, BGC Partners, and their affiliates, where responsibility included integrated communications, media relations, and corporate outreach. Karen's earlier roles included Head of Marketing & Communications at CRT Capital, Head of Communications for Global Equities & Latin America at Credit Suisse, and Head of Marketing & Communications at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Karen started a career in public relations and government affairs with agencies such as Hill & Knowlton, Janus Partners, and Ludgate Communications, managing accounts across Latin America. Karen holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Maryland University College.
