Marcia is excited to return to the Kripalu Board after serving from 2007–2016, during which she co-chaired the Development Committee. While Marcia sits on several nonprofit boards, it is Kripalu’s ability to open hearts and transform lives that have brought her back to the fold.

Marcia holds a law degree from Hofstra University. After practicing general and municipal law for several years, she became Director of Public Policy at the Mental Health Association of Nassau County, Inc., until she retired. She intends to continue promoting the mental health benefits of yoga.
