Daniel Clarkson currently serves as the Assistant General Counsel for Enforcement & Litigation at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Nevada. Daniel also has experience as an Associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP and Baker & Hostetler LLP, focusing on litigation, white collar defense, and special investigations. Daniel's background includes serving as a Judicial Law Clerk at the District Court for the Western District of Tennessee and as an Associate at Dechert LLP. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Biology from Duke University and a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law. Notably, Daniel represented the Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities in various litigations and investigations related to the Madoff Ponzi scheme.
