Angelica-Mae Valerio is an experienced educator and program manager with a strong focus on STEM education and teacher support. Currently serving as Student Teacher Supervisor for Secondary Science at the University of San Francisco and Program Manager for STEM Education Professional Learning at KQED, Angelica-Mae balances academic responsibilities with practical mentoring roles. Previous experience includes positions as Induction/Intern Mentor and Science Instructional Coach at Oakland Unified School District, where support was provided to middle school science teachers. Angelica-Mae has also worked as a Teacher Education Field Supervisor at Mills College and held various teaching roles, including an AP Biology position at Life Academy of Health and Bioscience. With a degree in General Biology from the University of Washington and a Master's in Education from UCLA, Angelica-Mae has demonstrated a commitment to fostering educational development and supporting young women in professional growth through earlier work at Mamacitas Cafe.
