Dr. Thamarai Kannan serves as the Director of the Career Development Centre at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology since October 2015, bringing extensive experience in engineering education and career placement. Prior to this role, Dr. Kannan worked as a Placement Officer at United Institute of Technology in Coimbatore from June 2010 to September 2015, where responsibilities included fostering corporate relationships, organizing campus placement drives, and orchestrating training programs for students. Dr. Kannan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Park College of Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Park College of Engineering and Technology.
