Liyarui Wang is a dedicated financial professional currently serving as a Staff Accountant at KPMG Canada since October 2023. With experience as the Financial Analyst Lead for the Commerce Undergraduate Society of UBC Vancouver since March 2020, Liyarui has demonstrated strong financial acumen and leadership skills. Previous roles include Residence Advisor and Orientation and Transition Leader at The University of British Columbia, where contributions involved mentoring and engaging first-year students. As Vice President External Affairs for the UBC Chinese Students' Association, Liyarui focused on bridging cultural gaps and coordinating events. Additional experience includes serving as a Client Services Assistant at Staples & Company Employee Benefits Consultants Inc., a Summer Intern at KPMG Canada, and a VP Operations for PennyDrops. Liyarui's background also encompasses analytical roles in e-commerce fraud detection at Aritzia and lifeguard positions with the City of Coquitlam and City of Vancouver. Liyarui holds a degree from the UBC Sauder School of Business and an IB Diploma from Port Moody Secondary School.
