Chris Nicol is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with extensive experience since July 2010 at SMART Technologies, where responsibilities include developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior to this role, Chris served as a Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies, developing firmware and diagnostic tools for the same product line. Chris's background includes work as an Electronics Contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, designing and repairing educational devices, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, assisting in student labs and examinations. Additionally, Chris has experience as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry equipment, and holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
