Mary Koval is a seasoned professional in career development, education, and diversity training. Currently serving as the Career Development Program Manager and Learning Specialist at Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia since August 2022, Mary designs and delivers learning experiences for job-seekers and associates, utilizing innovative training methods. With extensive experience in higher education, Mary has taught various sociology and career development courses at institutions like Bryant and Stratton College and John Tyler Community College, focusing on connecting course content to real-world applications. In addition, through Koval Consulting, Mary develops and implements diversity, equity, and inclusion workshops for emergency management personnel and advises on related organizational issues. Mary holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
