Tomáš Páník's work experience has been in the engineering and software development fields. Tomáš worked as a software engineer at Kontron from January 2001 to May 2005. After that, they became a custom project manager at the same company. Prior to their time at Kontron, they worked as an engineer at Škoda Energo from 1992 to 2000.

Tomáš Páník completed their education in a chronological order as follows. From 1983 to 1987, they attended Gymnazium v Plzni, where they graduated and gained a solid foundation in Mathematics and Physics. Following that, from 1987 to 1992, they enrolled at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, where they obtained their Dipl.-Ing. degree in Technical Cybernetics.
