Roland Ogilvie is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and project management, currently serving as the Global Estimating Manager at Vopak since December 2018. Prior to this role, Roland spent 28 years at Heerema Marine Contractors in various capacities, including Cost Manager for Tender Cost Engineering, Technical Engineering Manager for significant offshore projects, and Project Engineer for diverse engineering tasks. Roland's earlier roles include serving as Construction Dredging Superintendent at Volker Stevin Offshore and a Student Assistant at Delft University of Technology, where software for oil spill simulation was developed.
