Mohamed Leach is a seasoned professional in sourcing and procurement with extensive experience in both leadership and operational roles. Currently serving as the Manager of Sourcing & Procurement for Vopak South Africa since December 2019, Mohamed oversees all related activities within the Europe/Africa Division. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Denel Land Systems included roles as Head of Supply Chain, Legal & Compliance and Commercial Manager, focusing on supply chain policy implementation and global sourcing strategies. Mohamed's career began at BHP Billiton, where as a Commercial Superintendent, guidance was provided to enhance procurement processes using SAP technology. Academically, Mohamed holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and a BComm in Economics from the University of South Africa.
