Gerrit Steen is a seasoned freelance journalist and photographer with extensive experience in various roles primarily in journalism, marketing, and customer service. Since August 1981, Gerrit has contributed to Koninklijke BDU Holding BV, initiating a long-standing commitment to journalism. Other notable positions include customer service specialist at NS Fietsenstalling Amersfoort since September 2018, and marketing medewerker/operator at Selecta BV from September 1999 to November 2013. Gerrit has also held journalist roles at Handelspost BV and marketing positions at Polynorm NV and other firms. Educationally, Gerrit holds multiple degrees including in recreation sports leadership and gymnasium teaching.
