Patryk Małek has a diverse work history in the software engineering field. Patryk is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Kong Inc. since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Sumo Logic from August 2020 to May 2022, where they contributed to projects involving Go, Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, and Open Source.

Before that, Patryk held roles at Luxoft as a Principal Software Engineer from March 2020 to July 2020, and as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2018 to February 2020. At NAUTO, they worked as a Backend Core Infrastructure Engineer from September 2018 to April 2020.

Earlier in their career, Patryk gained experience as a Network Software Engineer at Intel Corporation from June 2017 to August 2018. Patryk also served as a Software Engineer (remote) at Blocktech Services from October 2017 to July 2018.

In addition, Patryk worked at Nokia as a Software Engineer from December 2016 to May 2017, as a Scrum Master from January 2016 to November 2016, and as a Software Engineer from November 2014 to December 2015. Patryk'sresponsibilities at Nokia included the implementation and maintenance of performance load testing tools for telecommunication networks.

Patryk began their career as a Junior Software Engineer at Tieto from July 2012 to November 2014. Before that, they gained experience as an IT Consultant at Cyclad from August 2011 to June 2012, where they were responsible for IT infrastructure monitoring and administration for international clients.

Patryk Małek has an extensive education history in the field of computer science and informatics. Patryk obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree from The Silesian University of Technology, specializing in Macrofaculty(IT, Electronics, Automata Control), from 2008 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics from Coventry University, completing their studies in 2011.

In 2013, Patryk pursued two Master of Engineering degrees simultaneously. Patryk studied at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, specializing in Informatics with a specialization in Internet Engineering, and completed their studies in English. Additionally, they attended the University of Novi Sad in Serbia, where they studied Computer Science.

Apart from their formal education, Patryk Małek has also obtained additional certifications. Patryk became a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer in August 2020 and completed a Computer Networks course from Coursera in September 2013.
