Dio Dananjaya has a diverse work experience in the journalism field, starting with their role as a Journalist at MNC Media in 2012. Dio then worked as a Surveyor and Quick Count Volunteer for the 2014 Presidential Election at the same company. In 2014, Dio joined Auto Bild Indonesia as a Contributor, where they gained experience as a test driver for new cars and developed skills in conducting interviews and building relationships with sources. Dio later worked as a Web Content Editor at Foody Indonesia from 2016 to 2017. Dio's career in automotive journalism continued at GridOto.com, Kompas Gramedia, where they had the opportunity to interact with various automotive experts and freely write about automotive topics. Dio then joined Tirto.ID as a Journalist in 2019, where they further honed their writing skills and incorporated data analysis into their articles. Currently, Dio is working as a Journalist at Kompas.com, where they are responsible for the automotive section, covering topics such as business, industry, regulations, tips, test drives, and communities related to two-wheeled vehicles.

Dio Dananjaya attended SMA Negeri 88 Jakarta from 2007 to 2010 where they focused on the field of study in IPS. Following their high school education, Dio entered the University of Indonesia in 2010 and completed their Bachelor's Degree in Sarjana Humaniora, specifically specializing in Javanese Studies in 2014.
