Shirin Lindseth is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international relations and gender equality initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since April 2024, Shirin previously held multiple roles at UN Women from April 2018 to April 2024, including Programme Specialist and Executive Board Programme and Negotiations Analyst. Prior to this, Shirin worked as a Consultant at The Norwegian Parliament's International Office and completed a traineeship at the Council of Europe's Private Office of the President. Additionally, internship experience was gained at the House of Commons. Shirin's military background includes serving as an Officer in the Norwegian Armed Forces. Academically, Shirin holds a Master of Philosophy in Political Theory from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science in International Politics from Aberystwyth University, complemented by a two-year degree in Operational Leadership from the Royal Norwegian Military Academy.
