Mariam Naqvi is a seasoned diplomat with extensive experience in international relations, currently serving as the Director of Diplomatic Relations at Utenriksdepartementet since August 2016. Naqvi has previously held positions such as Deputy Director for strategy development and internal communications, as well as for international migration policy within the same organization. Additional roles include Senior Adviser at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Project Manager at Kirkens Bymisjon, focusing on job training for Roma women. Naqvi is also the founder of Fashion Footprint, promoting sustainable solutions in the fashion industry. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Development Studies from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree from SOAS University of London, alongside earlier studies in social sciences and international baccalaureate at Norwegian institutions.
