Michael Koch has extensive experience in policy-making and international cooperation, currently serving as the Director and Head of the Department for International Cooperation at the National Board of Trade since February 2013. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions including Director at the Swedish Ministry of Defence, where responsibilities involved civil protection policy-making, and Deputy Director at the Swedish Ministry of Finance, focusing on budget proposals and policy development. Additional experience includes serving as Roll-Out Manager at Nordic Avenue, Financial Counsellor at the Permanent Representation of Sweden to the European Union, and Desk Officer at the Swedish Board of Agriculture. Michael holds a B.Sc. in Financing, Economics, English, and German from Växjö University and attended Central Connecticut State University in 1992.
