Hannes Lenk is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in European law and international investment law. Currently serving as a Legal Advisor at Kommerskollegium and a Senior Researcher at SIEPS, Hannes Lenk also holds positions as an Assistant Professor in European Union Law at Aarhus University and a Researcher at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. In addition, Hannes Lenk is an Independent Consultant through LENK Consulting, offering research and educational services in European investment law. As a PhD candidate in International Law, Hannes Lenk's ongoing research focuses on the role of the European Union in international investment law and arbitration. Hannes Lenk's previous experiences include roles as Chair of the PhD Candidates' Council and as a trainee writer for euinside, as well as a stagiaire at the European Commission's DG TRADE. Hannes Lenk holds a PhD in International Law from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, a Master of Laws in European Law from Leiden University, and a Bachelor of Laws in European Legal Studies from the University of Westminster.
