Lieve Vanderlinden has extensive experience in the field of social work and psychosocial support, currently serving as the directeur psychosociale werking at Kom op tegen Kanker since June 2012. Prior to this role, Lieve spent nearly three decades at UZ Leuven, where responsibilities included diensthoofd sociaal werk and sociaal werker from August 1984 until June 2012. Lieve holds a Master's degree in Social Work from KU Leuven, completed between 2003 and 2006, and has further specialized in relationship, family, and system psychotherapy at Leuven from 2000 to 2003. Lieve's foundational education in social work was obtained at the hoger instituut voor maatschappelijk werk from 1981 to 1984.
