Hisao Shiizuka is a Professor at Kogakuin University, where tenure began in April 2013, and also holds the title of Professor Emeritus at the same institution. Previously, Hisao Shiizuka served as President of the Japan Society of Kansei Engineering from September 2007 to August 2013. Hisao Shiizuka obtained two Doctor of Engineering degrees from Kogakuin University, focusing on Systems Science and Theory, Information Science, and Affective Engineering, as well as Electrical Engineering, Information Science, and Affective Science & Engineering.
