Tjienta van Pelt possesses extensive experience in sports management and event coordination, currently serving as a member of the Supervisory Board of Amateur Football at KNVB since June 2016, while also acting as the Director/CEO of Gelderse Sport Federatie since August 2010. Past roles include General Coordinator at FIFA for the Women's World Cup U20 events in Russia and Chile, and China in 2007. Tjienta held various managerial positions at KNVB, including Venuemanager for UEFA EURO U21 and Centre Director assistant for FIFA U20, after initially starting as a Manager of Marketing & Communication at Het Gelders Orkest. Earlier in the career, Tjienta was involved with EURO 2000 as an Assistant Centre Director. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Business Communications from Radboud University, obtained in 1997.
