Kobus (J.A.) Stadler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and management. Currently serving as a Sr Consultant, VP-Engineering, CTO, and President at KnightHawk Engineering, Inc. since March 2015, Kobus specializes in multi-disciplinary engineering, focusing on the design, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of static and rotating equipment. Previously, at Sasol Technology from January 1995 to December 2014, Kobus held various roles including Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Chief Process Engineer, where responsibilities included detail design and project management to address major operational threats in coal handling, gasification, and gas-to-liquids technologies. Educational qualifications include a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria and additional business education from GIBS Business School.
