Cynthia Young is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in financial reporting and tax management. Currently serving as Financial Controller at Knauf Australia since April 2021, Cynthia previously held the role of Financial Reporting & Tax Manager at USG Boral Building Products from September 2015 to March 2021. Early career experience includes positions at EY, starting as Senior Tax Consultant from January 2004 to December 2006, and advancing to Tax Manager from March 2007 to August 2015. Cynthia holds a Graduate Diploma from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accountancy with honours from the University of the Philippines, alongside educational credentials from the University of Sydney.
