Bri Hayes is an experienced educator currently serving as an 8th ELAR Teacher at Klein ISD since July 2023. Prior to this role, Bri taught 6th Grade Language Arts (ESL / GT) at Aldine ISD from August 2021 to July 2023, where responsibilities included facilitating learning through core texts and educating students on diverse perspectives. In addition to teaching, Bri served as the 7th Grade Girls Volleyball Assistant Coach, managing practices and coordinating with the head coach. Bri's experience with Teach For America included participation in professional development focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion, along with the use of technology in summer practicum sessions. Bri also contributed to community engagement initiatives at Oberlin College as a Student Administrative Assistant and worked as a Coronavirus Interviewer for the Oberlin Heritage Center. Bri holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Africana Studies from Oberlin College.
