Arvind Varadhan is an accomplished executive in credit risk management and strategy, currently serving as Chief Credit Officer at Klarna since August 2022. Prior to this, Arvind held various senior positions at American Express from May 2008 to August 2022, including Vice President & Head of Global Consumer Customer Management Strategy, where oversight was given to global customer management strategies, and Vice President & Global Head, Credit and Fraud Data Strategy, focusing on innovation in credit and fraud data. Arvind's extensive experience also encompasses leadership roles in consumer credit risk management across the UK and Europe, managing credit loss provisions, and enabling growth strategies. Earlier career experience includes roles at Capital One Services and Ardaman and Associates, complemented by a Bachelors of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida.
