Debashis Baidya has a solid work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Debashis is currently working as a Backend Engineer at Kiwigrid since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Telematics Software Developer at TUD - Chair of Traffic Process Automation (VPA) from October 2022 to January 2023. There, they were responsible for system design, algorithm implementation, software module development, and data analysis for automated traffic control systems. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg from June 2021 to November 2021. Debashis also has experience as a Scientific Software Developer at cfaed - Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden from January 2020 to March 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Software Programmer at IT Grow Division Ltd from April 2018 to October 2019, and as a Software Developer and Software Engineer Intern (Visual Computing) at DataSoft Systems Bangladesh Limited from August 2017 to March 2018 and June 2017 to November 2017, respectively.

Debashis Baidya holds a Master's degree in Computational Modeling and Simulation in Life Science from Technische Universität Dresden, which they obtained from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Khulna University between 2011 and 2016. Debashis had their Higher Secondary School education at Jhenaidah Govt KC College from 2008 to 2010, where they studied Science, Mathematics, and Physics. Furthermore, they attended Jhenaidah GOVT. High School from 2003 to 2007 and earned a Secondary School Certificate in Science and Higher Mathematics.

In addition to their formal education, Debashis Baidya has obtained various certifications. This includes completing the Django and Python Developer Specialization from the University of Michigan in June 2021, the Structuring Machine Learning Projects course from DeepLearning.AI in May 2021, the Professional DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer Specialization from DeepLearning.AI in May 2021, and the Software Development Lifecycle Specialization from the University of Minnesota in May 2021. Debashis also completed the Introduction to Machine Learning course conducted by Duke University in May 2020 and the Data Science Math Skills course by Duke University in April 2020. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Introduction to Applied Machine Learning from the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii) in April 2020, IELTS from the British Council in September 2019, Unity3D & C# Game Development from Udemy in July 2017, and Computer Applications Certification from the Bangladesh Technical Education Board in December 2009.
