Amy Smitherman is an experienced financial leader with a career spanning over 15 years in various senior finance roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a CFO Consultant at Kiwi Partners since August 2024 and as the Chief Financial Officer at the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland since January 2022, Amy has previously held chief financial positions at the South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation and East Side House Settlement. Other notable roles include Interim Director of Financial Operations at IAVI and Director of Finance at Homes for the Homeless, where significant process improvements and internal control enhancements were achieved. Amy's educational background includes an MFA in Theatre Management from Yale University, an Executive Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Georgetown University, and a BA in Business and Art History from The University of Alabama.
